About the seasonal guide
The month selector is an editorial overview of a variable, ecosystem-wide movement. It is based on Tanzania National Parks’ migration route map and UNESCO’s Serengeti National Park overview. The map on this site is a simplified illustration, not live tracking or a promise of a particular herd position, river crossing or sighting. Ask a qualified local operator about current conditions before choosing a route.
About this guide
Access Serengeti is an independent Pin Destinations publication. It is not an official park or government website. Suggested journeys are editorial starting points; no departure, booking, accommodation, activity or price is confirmed by this site.
